Stephanie Kay

Hi, I’m Steph. I started my childcare journey at the age of 18 when I completed my level 3 in childcare learning and development. I joined the team at Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school in 2001 and spent the first three years working in the baby room helping to nurture and settle children from as young as six weeks old.

I have recently changed my role to deputy manager and now work the pre-school with children aged 2-4 years. It really is the most rewarding job in the world watching young children develop skills that they will use for the rest of their lives and build some really special relationships with parents.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy nothing more than sitting on a beach somewhere nice and hot with a cocktail or two!
