Natalie Palmer
I have dedicated over 20 years to the field of childcare. My journey has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to support families and children from various backgrounds and with diverse needs. I hold a foundation degree in Supporting Children and Families, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a positive impact in our community.
Currently, I serve as the Assistant Nursery Manager, where my primary focus is on safeguarding and compliance. Ensuring our nursery environment is safe and nurturing for all children is my top priority. I have undertaken advanced Safeguarding training and deliver face to face training to the staff team. I am also actively involved with our inclusion team, advocating for children who may require additional support.
My passion extends beyond just compliance; I am deeply committed to promoting wellbeing and attachment among children. I have received training in the Solihull Parenting Approach, which emphasises understanding children’s needs and fostering strong relationships. Supporting vulnerable families is particularly close to my heart, as I believe every child deserves a loving and supportive environment.
