Our Philosophy
Excellence in Early Years Education
We understand the stresses of childcare and our aim is to make life easy for parents by offering flexible, affordable childcare that caters for all your childs needs. We pursue excellence in all areas of early years education, placing a strong emphasis on Nature Based Learning, helping children to increase their learning capacity, resilience, independence and emotional well-being.
Forest School
All of our children take part in age appropriate Forest School Education, helping to develop confidence, learning capacity, enthusiasm, problem solving skills and well-being.
All-inclusive Childcare
We we provide expert childcare at our settings across Thurmaston, Rothley & Mountsorrel, offering all-inclusive childcare for all ages, from babies and toddlers, through to preschool.
5 Star Out of School Clubs
We also provide out of school and holiday care for children aged 4-11years. Established in 2004, our 5 Star Clubs have an excellent reputation.
EYFS Education
We work alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which sets standards for learning, development and care from Birth to 5 years.
Fun, Varied Activities
All of our children explore the local community, take part in multi-sports and participate in our intergenerational programme.
Parents
Early Education entitlement is government funded childcare and education for children aged 2 – 4 years old. Parents can claim between 15 – 30 hours funded childcare with an approved childcare provider.

We have designed a tailored curriculum, exclusive to CNPG settings, based on our in-depth knowledge of our children, families and community.

The Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school Group is a family run business. We opened our first setting in Thurmaston in 2001. We now have four nursery and pre-school settings as well as three out of school and holiday clubs.
